McTimoney Chiropractic
When your body is balanced it can function at its optimum. Our skeleton is designed to be balanced and aligned to create minimal stress on our many body systems. Unfortunately there are many reasons we can become out of alignment - injury, accident or pregnancy can all have a traumatic impact on our body, but daily repetitive postural imbalances can also be significant contributory factors in our pain and dysfunction.
Here at Walk Tall Chiropractic we aim to help you function better so you can feel better.
Step 1 - Initial consultation
You will need to book a New Patient Consultation for your first appointment. During this session, your chiropractor will take a full medical case history as well as details regarding your presenting condition. A thorough examination of the joints in your whole body as well as specific testing will enable your chiropractor to deliver a report of findings to you. A plan of care will be shared with you, including the expected number of follow-up treatments.
Step 2 - Follow up
The number of sessions needed varies depending on:
-
your age
-
the nature of the problem
-
how long you have had the problem
-
your general level of fitness
-
stress levels
-
nutrition and lifestyle
-
what you do between sessions
Your chiropractor will be able to give you advice and support to help you maximise the benefit of your adjustments.
Once the acute problem has resolved, regular check-ups are recommended to keep your spine and other joints functioning well.
